Our bark fines/soil pep is screened through a 1/4 inch screen to create an all-purpose bark product. Use these bark fines as a simple, great looking dark ground cover. Golf courses love to apply this product in the spring, because it acts as a natural fertilizer for healthy, green grass and helps to retain moisture. If you’d like to add some pep to your garden, it works well as a top dress and also for blending into existing soils. It is a great way to prep for new vegetation. It is an all natural conditioning compost blend of soil nutrient rich bark fines. The blend is made up of primarily Douglas fir, with some Larch and Ponderosa Pine mixed in and does not have any animal composts in it.
