Pink Coral Gravel – 1.5″ Minus

Pink Coral Gravel is a colorful crushed landscape rock with a natural blend of pink, rose, cream and gray tones. Some suppliers call this blend “Strawberries and Cream” rock. Its warm colors stand out in garden beds, park strips and decorative landscape areas.

The mixed colors create contrast around green plants and blue-green foliage. They also pair well with darker accent rock, natural stone and neutral-colored hardscape. If you want landscape rock that becomes a visual feature, Pink Coral is worth seeing in person.

What Does 1.5″ Minus Mean?

The 1.5″ minus grading includes pieces approximately 1.5″ and smaller. You will see a range of sizes, not uniformly sized rock. Smaller pieces help fill spaces between larger ones and create a naturally varied texture. The proportion of large and small pieces can vary from load to load.

Crushed quarry rock may also contain dust and fines. These can make the loose material appear dull or dusty at first. Once you place the rock, you can rinse off surface dust. Rainfall will also clear some dust over time and reveal more color. Not every piece will have the same color, and some fines may remain.

Pink Coral Gravel or Pink Coral Pathway Chat?

Pink Coral Gravel is the larger decorative option for landscape coverage and visual contrast. For a finer material that creates a compacted walkway or patio, see our Pink Coral Pathway Chat – 1/4″ Minus. It has a similar color blend, but the much smaller particles serve a different purpose.

Do not use the 1.5″ gravel as a substitute for a firm pathway-chat surface. Its larger, irregular pieces work best in decorative landscape areas, not comfortable, compacted footpaths.

Coverage and Planning

We recommend installing Pink Coral Gravel approximately 3″ to 4″ deep for adequate coverage. Prepare and grade the area before placement. Add suitable edging where needed to keep the rock contained. The quantity you need depends on the area’s size and your desired finished depth. Contact us if you would like help estimating a bulk order.

Natural quarry rock can vary in color, size distribution and appearance between loads. If you need to match an older installation, we recommend viewing the current stock before ordering. The same applies when the exact balance of pink and cream tones matters to your project.

Pickup, Delivery and Installation

The Rock N Yard Landscape Center sells Pink Coral Gravel in bulk for pickup or delivery. Our delivery trucks place material on an accessible concrete or asphalt surface; they do not drive into yards.
